According to psychologists, almost every fifth married man of age between 42-50 years old enters into a new marriage. This being said, almost 50% of them were really faithful husbands over the whole period of married life. These data were received by psychologists of advanced countries. They called this phenomenon “a crisis of the forty-year-old”.
This brings up the question: why would a man divorce with his wife and leave his kids, flat or house, and usual comfort. It often happens that he even has to part with his friends. Almost half of men marry women, who are 15-20 years younger, and others change one partner for another. According to statistics, these “rebels” tie their lives with younger women. As a rule, the society is tolerant towards the “rebellion of the forty-year-old”. Though there is an opinion that the “rebellion of the forty-year-old” is nothing more than a reaction on serious hormonal reorganization (there are many approvals). Still, the majority of scientists consider the “rebellion of the forty-year-old” to be a psychological phenomenon. Banal fear is the reason of everything that may happen.
A man start realizing that life passes, nothing new and unusual will happen, and old age is not far off. Such thoughts lead to hidden neurosis. And what is the easiest and the most accessible way to fight this fear? Here is the answer: to create an illusion of youth, i.e. to tie your life with a young woman.
The first couple of years really help men to forget about their fears. Unfortunately, emotional and physical enthusiasm lasts not long. Symptoms of physical and mental exhaustion appear in two-three years. Active way of life tires a man.
According to statistics, more that 60 percent of new marriages between young women and men of age between 42-50 years old break up. And the moment of repentance comes.
