Sympathy and compassion
Sympathy and compassion
0 comments Categories: Life Tags: relationship

Women are endowed with compassionate feelings and men are more merciless. Sympathy and compassion are conditioned by man’s ability to experience imaginary situations and feelings described by an interlocutor. For example, a friend of yours tells you how offended he was after his boss had shouted at him. We reflectory put ourselves in his place, and stimulation of the neurons, which would react if we happened in a situation like this and experienced everything by ourselves, occurs in our brain. The same thing happens with pain and aversion centers. But, as it turned out, only honest people make you feel sympathy and compassion.

Two actors were invited to play a game with several participants. The first actor behaved honestly so that points and money were added to the joint account. The second actor cheated on partners to enrich himself. At the end of the game, a test subject considered one actor to be good, honest and upright, and another one to be an egoist and liar.

Test subjects were shown two actors experiencing pain at the second stage of the experiment; at the same time, brain tomography was performed. Tomography showed that only women felt sympathy to the cheater. When men saw sufferings of the cheater, stimulation of pleasure centers occurred.

This experiment allows to draw a practical conclusion: if you want a woman to forgive you, describe her your sufferings as bright as you can, and she’ll forget she was deceived. But it would be better not to tell men about your sufferings if only you don’t want to stimulate their pleasure centers.
