The funny thing is that though an ideal appearance is important for women, it is not the determining factor. But men are a special breed of animals, driven only by instincts. Conditional and unconditional instincts. We will speak about it a bit later.

By the way, I’m now working over the idea of a movie “In the animal world”. I’m looking for an independent (from men) producer. So, here is the question: “What are the basic factors, important for women at looking at photos?” Women are sitting silently… Men, make your bets! Higher… Even higher! All bets are off!

Soooo… I’ve calculated… I’m rich! Few people guessed, ladies and gentlemen… Looking at a photo of a man, women try to guess his potential reliability. But wouldn’t it be easier to read the tea-leaves or betting on horses? You could have avoided a lot of moral shocks…

Well, here is a sweet candy for afters. You’ve guessed the second factor. Looking at a photo of a man, a woman thinks: “What kind of person is HE?”

In my time, while gathering material for my Candidate's dissertation, I conducted a large-scale social study. Among other things, I found out that women, who tried to guess “his personality”, were separated into two approximately equal groups.

Women from the first group look attentively at his aural cavities. I guess, well-developed cartilaginous tissue tells its own story.

The second group plays attention to fingers, their shape and size, and makes corresponding comparison.

And now let’s greet players of the opposite team – men! Applause, applause, more applause… Ok, enough.

First thought of a man looking at a photo of a woman (and, as a rule, not seeing anything there) is: “What kind of person is she?” It should be noted that men make right guesses more often. They only need to compare facial contours, shape of lips, figure and weight.

The second thought: “Can she cook sushi?”
