Men like blondes but whether women love them too? Men's weakness for fair women has been known to society. For quite some time fair hair together with snow-white skin and blue, grey or green eyes was regarded as the ideal of feminine beauty. Such world-famous blondes like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Cameron Diaz, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna and many others literally captivated men from around the world by their shining images.

Blondes still remain popular today. No matter how hard statistics try to prove to society that modern men are no longer passionate about blondes and tend to be more and more attracted by brunettes a beautiful girl with blonde hair will always be followed by couple interested male eyes.

And what about the rest of women? Brunette, brown, dark brown, red, are they really willing to give the palm of beauty to blondes so easily? Of course not. If we imagine that the beauty contest Miss World was judged solely by dark haired women then with 97% probability we can say that the crown would go to the girl with dark hair. You can not say categorically that other women do not like blondes. It would not be true. However the dark-haired beauties have several reasons to dislike fair-haired girls and many of these reasons are caused by stereotypes that surround the image of blonde girls.

One of the most common stereotypes is that blondes are stupid so people always forgive them. There was no scientific evidence as to whether blondes or brunettes are smarter. There have been several experiments which involved groups of blondes and hark-heard girls performing the same task to find out which of the group will be faster in carrying it out however the results of these experiments can not support or dispose the above statement.

So according to society blondes are stupid and this public opinion leads to quite strange conclusion that blondes need help since weak and deprived need to be to protect. It is one of the moral principles therefore many men obviously attributing blondes to deprived women since they are not provident consider it their duty to provide them with possible support. This is what annoys representatives of other hair colors. What a blonde can get away with a brunette will never be able to. Millions of women think this way and without knowing it they convince men of that as well.

“For the beautiful eyes” blondes can get away with anything. Why? Apparently once upon a time a good man decided to take pity on a poor stupid blonde girl and her enviers started spreading the rumors. It is hard to find other explanation of this fact. It is worth noting that "blonde" is not a definition of women’s hair color. It is a collective image which consists of fair hair, pretty face, a bit of flirtation and female stupidity. That is the contemporary image of a blonde girl. Perhaps we can add the inability to use the computer and office equipment. But blondes, unlike other women, consider this persistently generated image as positive. Contrary to expectations it plays into their hands.

As mentioned above blondes are no exception and there are many well-educated and intelligent women among them many who take advantage of their alleged stupidity. Playing a fool blondes get away with anything. Based on public support smart blonde can pretend to be stupid at the right moment of a game and thus benefit from the indulgent attitude they are so used to. For that matter other women do not like blondes even more. Turning disadvantages into their advantages blondes virtuously play on the nerves of dark-haired women winning round after round. They get more of male attention and support in achieving their goals, more of it they always get what they want. So the question is whether it is so bad to be a blonde?

No. Blondes are the pearl of the female treachery. A little wit and intelligence and they can get a lot more then brunettes with the less effort. Indeed isn’t it the time brunettes get their way? They already have an image of intelligent and beautiful women who are capable of achieving a goal thanks to their strong heads, persistence and skills however shouldn’t they add new features to it?

Having asked this question and observed the benefits that smart blondes are getting from society far-fetched image of blondes some brunettes can be called "blondes"! Adopting some of the features brunettes have started "playing blondes" and began receiving bonuses. Since dark-haired women have started following their blonde rivals example blondes are not the only ones who can" get away with" minor mistakes and play weak and defenseless in the eyes of the men. Do women like blondes? If they do not take away men, act stupidly and clumsy then we can say “yes”. Blondes themselves do not like this kind of women. But what many women are grateful to blondes for is the example of how some things can be done easier and faster if you do not demonstrate all your knowledge and skills at once. Sometimes it is better to reserve them as trump cards up the sleeve and get them out at the right moment to break the jackpot. Blondes or brunettes, brown-haired or red hair color does not matter in general. Stereotypes and clichés are changing with time, but one thing is certain - smart women will always find a way to make them work for her and blondes are the best at it.
